Open

Click Open to open an existing drawing.

Open loads a previously saved drawing. Double-click on a drawing file to open it. CC3 allows you to preview drawings and map notes before opening the drawings, and even browse through whole folders.

Select an area of the image below for help:

File Name

Select or type the name of the file you want to open. Listed in this box are the files with the extension selected in the List Files of Type box.

Select the type of file you want to see in the File Name box.

CC3 FCW Drawing lists all CC3 and CC2 Pro drawings files in the current directory with the extension .fcw

CC3 FCT Template lists all CC3 template files in the current directory with the extension .fct;

CC3 FSC Symbol Catalog lists all CC3 symbol catalog files in the current directory with the extension .fsc Typically, you would only open a Symbol Catalog to modify, add, or delete symbol definitions from the catalog.

CC-DOS Drawing (FCD) lists all CC-DOS version 1.00 and newer drawings with the extension .fcd in the current directory; Before converting your CC-DOS drawings, see Importing CC-DOS drawings

AutoCAD® DWG File lists all AutoCAD drawing files (native format) in the current directory with the extension .dwg, version 14 or earlier;

AutoCAD® DXF File lists all AutoCAD drawing exchange format files in the current directory with the extension .dxf;
