Click the Symbols menu and select Define Symbols.
DEFINE SYMBOL collects entities already in a drawing to make a symbol definition. You can also create symbols from scratch using Add on the Symbol Manager.
UNDO (Edit menu) brings back the entities that went into the symbol, but does not un-define the symbol! Use the Symbol Manager to delete the definition.
You can create symbol catalog files for use in a CC3 Symbol Catalog. A symbol catalog is a drawing file that only contains symbol definitions. You can create a symbol catalog by creating the symbol definitions in a drawing and saving it as an .fsc file. Symbol catalogs should use no grouping and contain nothing but symbol definitions. Entries for "CC3 FSC Symbol Catalogs" have been added to the Open Drawing dialog box (OPEN command) and the Save As dialog box (SAVEAS command).
Note: When you select entities for a new symbol definition, you can include references to other symbols. Keep in mind that nested symbols slow CC3 down, especially if the references are scaled or rotated.
