FRONT brings entities to the front of the sheet they are on. Because CC3 draws entities in the order that it finds them in the file, entities at the end appear to be on top of or in front of other entities.

For example, a filled polygon drawn after a line is drawn hides the line on-screen. You could use FRONT to select the line to be in front of the polygon.

If the entity style of the polygon uses a fill pattern that is transparent and not totally opaque, the line will be seen behind the fill pattern.

To reverse the FRONT command:

Use the UNDO command (image\UNDO.gif). You must redraw to see the effect.

· FRONT is often used with filled symbols. If you want to add a city that is ‘behind’ a forest that you’ve already drawn, FRONT the forest.

· If you want to move entities off the current sheet, use Move to Sheet.

· If you want to send entities to the back, FRONT by ALL, NOT the entities you want to send to the back

· If you want add new color contour regions to your map, you can reorder the contours using FRONT. Front, by color, each color in turn, starting with the sea. Complete the command for each color, then move on to the rest. Finally, FRONT ALL NOT LAYER RELIEF/CONTOURS.
