Cut Lines

Cut lines are lines drawn upon a net to indicate where the net should be cut. It is often a good idea to place cut lines around the perimeter of a net, as well as along any special cuts that must be made into the net’s drawing proper. The line style and color used by default when drawing fold lines can be set via the Dioramas Options dialog.

To draw a cut line:

1. Click on the Cut Lines icon .

2. Click to place the first point of the cut line.

3. Click to place the second point of the cut line.

4. Continue to place points until all those required have been positioned.

5. Right click to end the command.

Because cut lines are, in fact, standard CC3 line entities, all of standard CC3 line manipulations will equally work on cut lines.
