Add Tab

The Add Tab command allows you to draw a glue tab entity, either based on free-form clicking, or by selecting an entity edge upon which to attach the tab.

To use the Add Tab command:

1Select the Add Tab icon image\TAB.gif.

2Either click in free space within the drawing, or select the edge of another entity.

3If drawing a tab in free space, click again to place the other end of the tab.

4To increase the number of tabs to be drawn, press the "+" key on your keyboard’s numeric keypad. To decrease the number of tabs to be drawn, press the "-" key on the numeric keypad.

5To draw the tab at the default tab width (set via the Dioramas Options dialog), press ENTER.

6To draw the tab at another, specific width, type the value of the required width and press Enter.

7To determine the tab width by freehand digitizing, move the mouse so that the preview outline depicts the desired tab, and click.
