Make Varicolor

On the Symbol menu click Make Varicolor.

Make Varicolor sets an entity in a symbol defintion to the color of the symbol reference. Change Color will clear this, returning an entity to normal color. This command is used to make varicolor symbols.

This command is only relevant for entities that will be included in a symbol definition .

Entities in a symbol definition that have this setting will draw in the current color when inserted.

You can use the EDIT SYMBOL DEFINITION command to modify an existing symbol. Reference entities that are changed to SymRef color will then update to the color active at the time of the symbol insertion.

Note: CC3 also allows you to add varicolor symbols with shading. These are just as easy to insert, but more effort to create. .image\buttonarrow.gif
