Sometimes CC3 needs to present information to you in a manner that will not fit on the command line or a simple message box. When this is the case, CC3 often utilizes text windows. The text window displays as much information as will fit on one screen. To see more pages, use the scroll bar or re-size the window.
The following commands display informational output in a text window:
· NOTES [File > File Notes].
· EXTRACT attributes [Insert > Extract Attributes];
· LIST [Info > List];
· COUNT ALL [Info > Count All];
· COUNT [Info > Count];
To manipulate the given information, click the appropriate icons on the window’s title bar.
The standard icons on the upper right perform default Windows’ actions:
Minimizes the text window;
Maximizes the text window;
Closes the text window and returns you to the drawing.
The special "T" icon displays a menu allowing you to adjust the page setup, output to a printer, or output to a text file.
Selecting the Page setup… option opens the Text Page Setup dialog box. These parameters only affect print output, not save as text file output.
