The most commonly used menu commands are available from the Toolbars. Click on a button to activate the command; right click on any button to see related commands and extended features.
When you install CC3, you have the option of using just a Simple toolbar. This is a great way to get familiar with CC3, and includes the tools most commonly used for mapping. You can swap between the simple and full interface.

To get a brief description of a button’s function, hold the mouse over the button to display a descriptive "tool tip."

File buttons let you manage your drawings and swap between add-ons.

Overland Map buttons. Use these to draw map–specific features. In add-ons, this will display buttons specific for those add-ons. Display buttons control the way in which images are rendered, as well as sheet and effects. |
Zoom buttons. Use these at any time to navigate your maps
Entity order buttons. Use these to control the order in which entities are displayed |

Edit buttons. Use these to move, resize, erase and change a selection of existing entities. |
Draw buttons. Use these to add most entities to your maps

Single edit and trim buttons. Use these to reshape and change entities select individually. |
Modifier buttons. Use these to make a selected point snap to significant points on other entities.
