January
For the January issue of the Cartographer's Annual 2019 we present a combined tutorial and style pack, importing maps from Watabou's amazing medieval Fantasy city generator into CC3+, applying a City Designer 3 style and expanding it with CC3+'s tools.
The pack Watabou Cities contains instructions on how to convert an svg file into an import CC3+ can understand, templates to import the into, and the intructions, tools and bitmaps to convert the result into a beautiful CC3+ map.

Sue Daniel has painstakingly recreated the style of early modern cartographer Joseph de Ferraris and we are proud to present it as the February Annual issue.

The March issue of the Annual 2020 contains a detailed set of deckplans for an explorer-type starship (Alexandria-class in Pelgrane Press' Ashen Star rpg) created with Cosmographer 3, as well as a large set of bitmaps for modern and sci-fi maps.
Each deck is rendered in loving detail and is accompanied by a description of the various features, functions and layout. The plans come exported in a variety of hires formats for immediate use at the table or in virtual tabletops, and can of course be edited and expanded upon in CC3+.

The April issue of the Annual 2020 contains a new dungeon style based on ink-and-paper cartography by the likes of Dyson Logos and MonkeyBloodDesign.
The style allows you to produce simple and effective but also beautiful black and white dungeon layouts. The included 6-page mapping guide takes you through the process of drawing a complete dungeon.

The May issue of the Annual 2020 contains a new city style created by Glynn Seal of MonkeyBloodDesign, providing a wonderful new full color look for town and city maps based on this Ryecroft cemetery design.
The "Ryecroft Town" drawing style allows you to produce beautiful town and city maps, making full use of the city commands incorporated into CC3+ with the recent Update 25. And as usual the accompanying mapping guide provides a full introduction to using the style.

June
The June issue of the Annual 2020 contains a collection of five beautiful battle maps for you, created by Christina Trani, who’s freelance cartographer work has been featured in the Annual before. The maps ready for you to use, and if you own Symbol Set 4 to modify and expand at your leisure.
The accompanying 6-page mapping guide teaches how to use grids of any style and size on these or other battle maps, how print them to scale even on a small home printer, and how to export them to use in a virtual tabletop environment.

July
The July issue of the Annual 2020 consists of a wonderful new overland style by Master Mapper Sue Daniel. Sue designed and rendered detailed models of mountains, trees and stuctures and turned these into symbols for CC3+.
Being a fully self-contained style and containing more than 150 symbols, it will still be expanded by second issue later this year. This will give you a comprehensive selection of textures, symbols and tools in a highly detailed bitmap style.

August
The August issue of the Annual 2020 consists of a new starship deckplan style inspired by the work of Free League Publishing (and used with their permission). The style lets you create small to medium starship layouts in a retro-look reminiscent of an old computer screen readout.
The style works independently of Cosmographer 3, and allows you to build great starships for for gritty, dangerous and fairly hard SF settings. The accompanying mapping guide takes you through the design process of such a deckplan.

In the September issue of the Annual 2020 we present a set of symbols for easily drawing precipitous cliffs in your city maps. Sue Daniel created this catalog of connecting symbols along with special features like gaps, stack, ascending roads and waterfalls.
The symbols come integrated with the Jon Roberts Cities style, which is included in CC3+, but can also be added to any other city style easily. The accompanying mapping guide not only explains how to do that, but also gives a step-by-step overview of the workings of the connecting symbols.

October
The October issue of the Annual 2020 includes a new style for Venice-like cities with lots of canalas and islands, based on the map of Serpentine by Jerôme Huguenin for the Swords of the Serpentine RPG by Pelgrane Press.
The city style uses vector house symbols and street styles for a dense tangle of roada and alleys, with symbols for bridges and boats to create that maritime atmosphere. The included mapping guide goes through all the steps necessary to create a Serpetine style city map.

The December issue of the Annual 2020 includes an isometric floorplan style by a new contributor to the Annual: Kawe Weissi-Zadeh of Westfalia Miniatures.
The Tagkrammer Isometric style is a clear and beautiful set of isometric bitmap symbols that let you build interiors of small and medium buildings.
This issue is available as a free issue and can be used by anyone with Campaign Cartographer 3 Plus. It is available as part of the Cartographer's Annual Free Sampler.
